Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician from England. He was one of the members of One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, and with his three classmates, formed a music group dubbed White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to win in the Battle of Bands 2009. Even though he's always expressed an interest in the music world however, despite his love for it he wanted also to be a lawyer or an physiotherapist. He was employed in the local bakery for a few hours to help his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. This meant that his band needed to be separated. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the band to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to form the band in 2010. They performed tracks like My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the contenders to win the award. But they came in third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract for One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
